I know someone who is in need of some mental health help. He isn’t related to me, but related to my daughter. Can I refer him for help?

Can I refer him for help or should my daughter do that?

Tell your daughter about this forum and if she has questions we will try to be of help. Do you have any questions?

Do you mean to this site? We are a forum and do not offer services.

If you mean just telling him, that should be your daughter. You can tell her and she can pass along the info.

I would say we don't know enough about what you are suggesting. If this is a relative of your daughter you should be communicating with her about the way forward, I think. We can't know what sort of thing you are dealing with? Depression? Suicidal ideation? Undiagnosed mental conditions. Sure wish you the best but not certain how you would be able to intervene in a situation other than to speak with the person him or herself or with your daughter to find a way forward. Good luck.
