Is it a stroke or myasthenia gravis?

This is less a question than advice. I did pose the question and didn't get the help I needed so now I know the answer I feel everyone should be aware. It related to my partner having taken the muscle relaxant Methocarbomol/Robaxin. Within 2 week she had all the signs of a stroke but we believed the problem related to methocarbamol. Her eye and cheek drooped, and her speech was slurred. It initially occurred after eating or talking for a while then cleared up until the next meal, or talk. She had ct and MRI scans and for over 9 month got nowhere. I continually searched the internet while people kept suggesting stroke but all tests coming back negative. Eventually I came across Myasthenia Gravis, triggered by the muscle relaxant, but after over 8 month without diagnosis or any treatment she us now in hospital on a drip initially and now being fed and medicated through a tube, all because numerous Dr.s and specialists didn't recognise it. Please be aware of stroke symptoms that they say isn't a stroke, it could be MG.

Every symptom and illness is a mystery waiting to be solved (and often NOT solved) by medical personnel. Thank you for your information. I wish you luck.
