My only income is Social Security and I do not file a tax return. I get my monthly SS payment by direct deposit. When do I get my $1200?

My niece just got hers overnight, she's the first person I've seen get the direct deposit. She was so excited to see it in her account she texted the whole family. No information on exactly when you'll get yours, but they have definitely started rolling out.

Here is an article from AARP on the stimulus. It doesn’t say when but covers the fact that filing a tax return isn't necessary if you have direct deposit. Hopefully you will receive it soon. AARP will have info so it’s a good site to watch for details.
