Home health workers and COVID 19?

My mother has hospice workers and home health workers visiting on a daily bases. Should we cut back/stop visits due to COVID 19?

I don't mean to be rude, but if someone is already on hospice and they happen to contract the virus from any source, well, it is what it is. I'm also sure that the workers are taking prudent precautions since I'm sure they don't want to get it. Or give it. I would just let them do their jobs and give the hospice patient the care they need. Best of luck.

Hospice workers are prepared and should have protective equipment with them that they can use.
If you do not want them to come in that is your call.
I do not know what Medicare is going to do about the requirement that there must be at least 1 Nurse visit within 14 days. There is no requirement for a CNA, Social Worker, Chaplain. Currently the Medicare requirement is a Nurse must visit every 14 days.

I think you have to weigh the pros and cons, can you get by without it causing serious hardship?
