Assistive support for parent who cannot use his hands?

My father is a pretty aware 82 year old who has lost the use of his entire left side, and now is likely to lose at least some use of his right hand. I’m trying to understand what assistive resources are available to him. He will have to move into assisted living, but I want to make sure he can still read, talk on the phone, use his computer. Can anyone recommend a website or other resource to learn how to help him? Thank you!!!

Are you sure assisted living will be enough care? Maybe look into skilled nursing facility as well, just to compare the services that are offered.

My now deceased uncle lost the use of his hands. My cousins felt he needed to be in a nursing home.
