My mother has moderate dementia, they have neglected some of her care, now they want guardianship. I’m her daughter.

She went there for rehab after hip replacement, 2nd one, third week follow up by surgeon, says she has a hairline fracture she must have fallen. Nursing home kept her in the back hall, no documentation of any falls, took two months to get her clothes washed, legs swelling. I had to tell them what are you doing about it, and they then got her medicine.

Get her out of there. Get her discharged. Call ur Ombudsman if u have problems. You may need a lawyer if they are looking at guardianship. You need the doctor to document what he found. Document what is going on and what they did about it.
