My husband seems to have deteriorated and is showing some changes in the last couple days. I’m scared. Any advice?

He is not knowing what day it is, having a difficult time falling asleep, easily agitated and a bit of general confusion. What med are the docs using to calm them down?

Hi again, you can read my story, yes he is in late middle stages, he is 83. Thanks for all replies, I’m going to call md first thing in the am about dropping off urine sample.

UTI check time if this is a sudden change. After that you will want to do a neuro check if the easier UTI is ruled out. There could have been a recent stroke. Any change that is this sudden means that there is some crisis that precipitated it almost certainly. It is off to the doctor and at once. Consider an ER visit if you cannot be seem right away.

First get him to the doctor and have him checked for a UTI. This is generally the first step when there is a sudden change in behaviour. Once that is ruled in or out, then you can look at other factors.

Yes, get him to the doctor so they can figure out what's up. How old is he? Does he have dementia?
