Will Medicare or insurance pay for a person to come in at night to keep an eye on my Mom in her home?

Mom is 92 and slow but self sufficient for the most part.

Medicare does not cover. Most supplemental do not have that type of coverage

Catholic social services provided 4 hours once a week at no charge to visit with my husband so I could grocery shop and do errands or have social time with my friends as a break.

Not that I am aware of. You can call Council on Aging for daytime help. Daytime help and not many hours but it’s the only service that I know of for free.

Medicare will not pay for that. If your
mom has other insurance, you’ll have to check to with them to see what is covered.
