I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I lost half of my income and rely only on my SSDI. How can I get a HUD voucher to help with my rent?
The waiting list is closed. There's got to be some kind of program for elderly disabled people. My landlord will except government help so I don't have to move. Please help
Have you visited this social service office? I would go there, explain your situation and income. I would think they would find a way to keep you from becoming homeless.
