I have a friend who needs to see a doctor on a weekly basis. She just lost her Medicaid because she makes too much and Medicare doesn't cover transportation. She doesn't drive and needs to find a way to the doctor that doesn't cost much. Should she sign up for a supplemental plan like Molina or is there another way to get back and forth? You can also check with public transportation. Public transportation will many times have a program for seniors or the disabled where they will come and pick you up you do not have to go to a bus stop but you do need to call in advance for the service.
