Mom has dementia and can't make or control limb movement. Is there a specialist for this?

Mother fell and broke femur and since then has days that her mind won't tell her body to move. She is only able to feed herself about as well as a 3 year old. On rare days she is able to rise and walk with assistance. Her cognitive skills are good but the dementia won't let her control her movement. Is this normal with dementia?

She needs to see a Neurologist for this. Her not able to use her arm can be a symptom of many underlying causes. Please seek help for this.

Did she hit her head? I would call a neurologist and see what he/she says.
