Mom has dementia and lately has been sleeping more during the day and at nights. Is more sleeping and less eating a change with her dementia?

She gets up less to pee and sleeps through the night. I give er a .25mg xanax at 9A and at 6P. If I don't she gets these bad stess and anxiety attacks. Also she is eating less. She is "hungary" but when she sits down to eat has no appetite. Are these indications of more sleeping and less eating a change with her dementia?
