I'm the caregiver for my mildly afflicted Alzheimer's wife (82). I am in good health (79). When I correct her or disagree, she is offended. Suggestions?

How do I get to a mindset for accepting he catty remarks when I disagree with her? It is becoming abrasive!

Stop disagreeing. You cannot reason or explain to dementia. Try to change the subject, redirect, anything but argue and correct.

That is the best way, unfortunately she probably doesn't get that her thinking is off.
