Snow2018 Asked November 2018

i had asked about benefits for my mother from the VA. I can't afford the monthly bill for the caregiver help. Does this qualify to get benefits?

My father passed away several years ago. He was in the Korea War. I was told until all her money is going to take care of her, the benefits will not kick in. I have a part time caregiver helping me out. With mom's house bills, food, electric etc., I can't afford the monthly bill for the caregiver help. Does this qualify to get benefits?? Trying to keep mom in her house, I believe this is the best place for her.

VA is the only entity that can determine exactly what benefits she may receive.

Call your local VA dept and ask them about Aid and Attendance.
