Would anyone benefit from having someone giving professional grade haircuts in the comfort of your home?

I am a licensed cosmetologist and im very in helping others and giving back. I’ve dealt with caring for an elderly family member and know how hard simple things like haircuts can be... especially if leaving the house is burdensome. Especially with the holidays around the corner.

For sure. I’d ,love to have someone come and cut hubby’s hair, shampoo him and trim his beard!

My GF does this all the time. She has her own shop but works once a week at a nearby AL. She also goes to peoples homes. In my area ALs and the NHs have hairdressers on site but allow residents to have their personal hairdresser. Who is allowed to use the salon if regular hairdresser is not there.

Absolutely. I’m trying to find a salon for my mom. She’s on oxygen and is unable to climb stairs. She gets claustrophobic in the very small salon at the nursing home where she resides.

Oh come on, everyone who knows how to use the internet knows that posting a question like this makes no sense because your audience consists of people from across the country and around the world. If you want to know whether your business plan has any merit I suggest you advertise in the places you are most apt to reach your selected audience, try your local seniors centre or community Facebook page.

I think that’s why everyone is giving a general answer and not booking an appointment. 😁😁

I think it’s a great idea. Most big independent living , assisted living and long term places have their own hairdressers but the smaller private ones or board and care places probably don’t. I would investigate those and drop your flyer off with their staff. Also large elderly residential apartment buildings probably have info desks or bulletin boards.
If you target multi resident places you could schedule more than one person per trip.
