I currently get Medicaid, and also Workers Comp. I am turning 65, must I collect my SS benefits?

Combined income will be over Medicaid limits. Is my Workers Compensation added to my Social Security income amount?

I am GUESSING that worker's comp stops at social security normal retirement date.
Current age is not 65. For those born in 1953, age 66 is the date to receive full retirement benefits.  You will have to check it out on the social security website . Meanwhile you must apply for Medicare (health coverage). You can defer receiving social security until age 70 , but I am guessing from your inquiry, that you will want it to pick up when worker's comp ends.
There should be a phone number on your worker's comp papers for inquiries.  They can give you the best response.
