Molly Maid will perform housekeeping, of a limited nature - no heavy work. I thought their prices were reasonable, but wished they were more flexible in what they're allowed to do.
Nancy, are looking for just a house cleaner? I am curious about the 8 hours. Usually a crew of house cleaners can whip through a house in a couple of hours. So I don't know if you are looking for more than just house cleaning.
If you are looking for a caregiver to come in once every 2 or 3 weeks, caregivers only do light housekeeping but only inbetween caring for a person. So you won't get a sparkling house at the end of the day as that would be too exhausting.
Call your local house cleaning services. The next door neighbor had 3 large dogs and the cleaning crew had no problems with the dogs being there, the dogs were very well behaved. They cleaned once a week due to the pet hair.
