Diet ideas for Peptic ulcer in a 75 year old?

Makes sense, ulcers are caused by stress.

"According to the American College of Gastroenterology, the group of doctors who specialize in the digestive tract, there is no specific diet a person with ulcers needs to follow. Food choices do not cause ulcers or make them worse."

If certain foods bother the person, avoid them. Otherwise continue with a diet the person enjoys. Naturally a "healthy" diet would be preferred over Twinkies and Coke, but that is for general health, not specifically for the ulcers.

Check this advice with the person's own doctor. It is the advice my husband got for his ulcers (about14 years ago), and advice widely repeated by reliable sources on the internet. I think in the old days there was concern that certain foods would make things worse, and many of us may remember that our grandfather had to follow a certain diet for his ulcers, but science has learned more about the condition.

The doctor should be able to give you a diet plan. Also, the internet.
