Need advice, a friend (70) keeps checking, walks in circles, repeats herself, always talks about sex. Are these signs of dementia?
Has picked up money that doesn't belong to her. It's the checking that worries us. Keeps pacing up and down and checking all the time. Opening and closing her bag and talks to herself. Are all these signs of dementia?
It could be dementia. I could be some other mental illness. A doctor should be consulted. Is there some family member that could make sure she sees a doctor? Or even a friend? Whoever goes with her could hand the nurse notes about what has been observed ahead of time, so the doctor can be aware.
