My dad only wants to see me and family when he wants something. Any advice?
When he doesn’t get what he wants he yells and screams and tells other family members and staff at his memory care facility that we are stealing from him.
Tlkent, your Dad has Alzheimer's/Dementia [per your profile], that is what happens. You need to study up on this condition so that you aren't surprised by some of things that Dad might do.
