My mother is a widow of a WW II Marine Vet. My Dad is deceased, are there any benefits for my mother?

There may be the possibility of your mother receiving a Veterans pension. If I recall eligibility may be affected by assets and income. I would suggest finding or obtaining any service records your Father may have had, sometimes back in the day Veterans would file a copy of their discharge paperwork with the local clerk and recorder at the courthouse, if you don’t have any discharge paperwork you may want to go to archives.gov and fill out Standard Form 180 to obtain a copy of DD214 or any proof of service document. You can contact a Veterans service officer through your state or American Legion, Veterans of Foriegn Wars. You can also speak with the VA 1-800-827-1000 but I’ve found a good Veterans Service Officer is your best ally. Best of luck to you.

Contact your local County VA office. There is Aid and Attenance but you have to prove her caregiving goes over her income.
