Asking for a friend, in the State of Missouri, couple was not married, both on Medicare and Medicaid. Him 10 years, Her 7 years, female died in her sleep at home, Dr. and other bills paid. They didn't have a lot of nice or new stuff, mid 80's vehicle, house trailer (that I think should be burnt down) but it was all paid for. My question is what can the State of Missouri go after to recover the money paid out on her? With vehicle being in both names, property trailer sits on in both names, had enough insurance to pay for funeral, and catch up on bills and it's gone. Thanks Kelly.
