When should I do hospice?

I had my mother in my her home all was well till she lost her foot, then leg then an investigation APS exploitation. We choose to do NSF I feel guilty every day because I procrastinated. I feel judged wrongly by nursing home staff. I get stiffed when I try to take care of legal matters. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Is your mother able to deal with her legal issues herself or are they your legal issues. If she can't, you will need the Durable POA.

Why would you feel guilty? Your mother would be well cared for and you would not be expected to do everything for someone 24/7 which is why 40% of caregivers die before the person they are caring for. What went wrong before when you were taking care of your mother at home? Who put her in the nursing home?

I live in Texas which is medicade recovery estate.no I didn't have Poa done I felt as if tricked into them handling her money I still could have I was ready to give her to them I only wanted adult day care. Sometimes though not sure if leaving her at Nursing he facility were she gets all her needset and I get to do nothing but feel guilty

Has her doctor said anything about her possibly dying within the next three years? What is NSF? What did you procrastinate about? Who is stiffing you when you try to take care of legal matters, your mother? If it is your mother, she needs to understand that these legal matters are not going away. Are you her durable and medical POA?
