How do you apply for VA aid and assistance for a surviving spouse?

Call your local VA county office and set up an appointment. The Vet has to have served during wartime. Not been in the fighting but served. You must have his military records and other personnel info. Also bank information so check can be electronically deposited. The more paperwork the better.
