How should we work out paying a caregiver who is moving in to down below apartment?

She will work upstairs with mom for the day. Then be on call if she needs her. How much should we pay for that kind of thing?

You can pay her minimum wage fo all of the hours. Check you State's minimum wage.

This is our delima. She is going to pay rent, but get paid for hrs she works..but what is a good maybe Salary figure for on call?

Legally, you must pay her on an hourly basis for the hours that she works during the day and for the hours that she is on call during the night.
