Alan, the vast majority of grown children who are caregivers for their parents do not get paid.... unless the parent can pay from their own retirement funds. Another option is to contact your State Medicaid office [Medicaid is different from Medicare] to see if your State might have a payment program. If the State has such a program, please note the pay would be minimal.
