As a caregiver, how do you keep yourself from becoming overwhelmed when you also have children and a business?

Mr3122, How disabled, physically or mentally (or both) is she? If not too bad, I worked in two group homes that each had 5-7 people, with a cook/kitchen person and an aid. Both of them were very nice, not too expensive (Tho the one I would like my mom to be in here is $4000 a month - yikes!), and the ambience was like a large family, they helped each other and us. She probably would like it after a settling period, maybe a couple or three weeks....

No idea. I'm in same boat. 2 kids 3 years and 3 months. Just started a small business 7 months ago.

My mom lives with us. She is a huge drain emotionally and financially. Literally adds nothing to our lives by being here.

I love her just at the end of my rope.

Keep on keeping on. I'm looking for answers too.
