How do you know when medications need to be changed?
Mom with AD has sundowners. Currently on meds for anger and anxiety. She's more confused anxiety is worse evident by scratching arms until they bruise asking to go home more often and responding in anger when she doesn't get her way.
Contact her doctor or caregiver. My mom had lots of issues with anxiety with dementia. Her meds were evaluated numerous times after she had delusions, hallucinations, angry outbursts, etc.
