Is it common to just leave their hair wet after washing when in the NH?

I'm just curious what most places do, mom's present nursing home brings her back to bed after her evening bath with a wet head. I'm pretty sure the last place dried her hair, at least I never noticed a wet head, but since her baths were in the morning perhaps I just wasn't there while it was still wet.

It's normal and it's not a health risk. Unfortunately, there aren't usually blowdryers available. You may beagle to bring her one and request they blow dry her hair or even help her do it on her shower days. Any help you can provide the staff will be that much more care your mom gets.

When I worked in NH some residents didn't like the noise of the hair dryer today, but it was okay the next time..I would towel dry the best I could.

Yikes! It can't be a good idea for her actually to be being settled in bed with wet hair, surely? How impractical would it be for someone to get busy with a hair dryer and a styling brush? - just aiming to leave it dry and tidy, not going for any coiffeur of the year awards or anything.

Mind you, at least they are washing it regularly, then. That's something.
