How to deal with a brother who has temp guardianship over my dad's estate?

I am the sole caregiver to my dad. I am constantly being accused of neglect, abuse and taking his money. My mother past away 3 months ago and my dad is still mourning the loss of his wife of over 60 years and is very stressed over my brothers actions. My dad doesn't trust him or have a relationship with him.

I don't fully understand why things are not being addressed. I would insist on response from attorney or get your own attorney. Guardians have a duty to provide for the needs of the Ward. They have to answer to the court. I'd request a return to court, so the job brother is doing can be evaluated. Also, I'd keep my receipts so you can request reimbursement.

Yes, it is court appointed, he petitioned for guardianship of estate only. My dad has an attorney but, it seems he moves very slowly (example: my dad is only getting $100 per week to live on and even that is showing up late. He asked for more as that will only cover his groceries and he needs money for other things(his dogs food and getting a bath, going out to dinner once a week, getting coffee a few times a week). I told the attorney that my dad has had to live on $200 for 3 weeks now and wanted him to treat it like an emergency but, didn't get a response for 4-5 days. I have been getting the things my dad needs on my dime. Remind you, my dad is only asking for his own money that my brother has control over.

Are you talking about a court appointed Guardian? Why temporary? Is it returning to court for review? If so, I'd consult with an Elder Law attorney for advice.
