If my father retired from the Air Force, what kind of care does the VA provide for them?

my father retired from the Air Force I know he qualifies for benefits but it gets confusing finding just what he can get and if my mom qualifies being his spouse. I talked with a facility and they tell me he could have long term care but not mom. I will not separate them unless mom has no clue who he is. They have been together almost 70 years I will not keep them apart no matter what. so what does the VA provide for care for them? I need money to hire extra help or a place them both in a facility together it is so expensive and my parents don't have assets that would help them for very long. Thanks all

Try contacting your local Veteran's Service Office. They should have information about benefits available and how to apply for them.
