Any suggestions on where to find information to prepare oneself for their parent's aging issues?

Daughter is impatient and expects mother to remember, while it is just not possible for her to do so. Daughter is not caregiver and does not live nearby. Infrequent visits dissolve into tears, frustration and anger for all.

Kind of you to help your friend. I found this link, I hope will be helpful to your friend.

I would also suggest counselling, talking to a therapist or social worker about accessing community resources. I too am impatient with my mother. I think our personalities are too different. But I continue to try and we all do the best we can.
