I was caring for both my disabled parents. Last Sept. my Dad passed.
So, now it is Mom and me.
I am very fortunate... my parents paid for a gold-plated in-home long term health policy. That policy will continue to provide a couple hours everyday for an agency to send a professional aide for Mom. I did the calculations...the policy will continue to pay for the next 8 years.
If you do not have routine help to let you get out and have some sort of life...this is going to get really rough.
