I am concerned that one of my mother's aides lies quite a bit. What should I do?

My mother is 90-years-old, confused, legally blind and is not really comfortable with this particular aide. When she lies, it's about small stuff like where she has taken mom or where they went.

If the aide says, "I took your mother to xx today," how do you know it is not true?

If the aide is lying to you ( and you have outside confirmation of that fact) and your mom isn't comfotable with her, why is she still working for you?

However, I would make sure ( and only you know your mom well enough to figure this out) that mom isn't trying to manipulate the situation so that YOU have to be the one assisting her.
