randy, the vast majority of adult children do NOT get paid for taking care of their parent(s).... unless the parent(s) can pay you from their own retirement account.
As MAC above had mentioned, you would need to have an employment agreement or contract if in fact your parents can budget enough to pay you. And they would need to pay payroll taxes, unless they hire a check payroll firm to do this work for them, for a fee.
