Does anyone know if there is a place I can get a very low cost or free elderly alert system with fall detection?
My mother desperately needs one. She fell recently and was in the bath tub for 16 hours. My sister controls her money and will not get one for her. I do not have the money to purchase one or if I did it would need to be very low cost.
Chappell, Hopefully, someone else will see this post and answer. My thought is that your mom needs to have some in home help with bathing. or she could move to an assisted living which would provide that service in the rent. Or you can report this to Adult Protective Services who may visit and see if there is something they can connect her with.

Call her local Area Agency on Aging and ask for a needs assessment.
If your sister is refusing to use mom's money for her care, you report her to APS.
