Where to find financial assistance for elderly widow who rents?
Looking to see whats available for a 75 year old woman who is widowed and rents her apartment. Between social security and pensions cannot make ends meet. looking for financial assistance including food stamps and any supplimentary aid available
I'm not sure which state you are in, but, in my state, services for those in need are all processed through our County/state Dept. of Social Services. Call yours or your counsel on aging to find out who processes your county's applications for seniors.
