We lost Mom in Feb and Dad is always asking "where is Mom" lets go get her".

He is so lonesome, he wants to drive and find her. It's so hard....Should we put away all Mom's pictures and not talk about Mom. Would that help him? I don't think it will.. because he will remember her without the pictures... I'm not sure what to do. He will get so anger as us when we tell him she is in heaven sometimes. His memory issues are getting worst. Something he can't complete a full sentence:(

Go to YouTube and watch Teepa Snow videos. She is a dementia care expert. You can find a lot of videos featuring Teepa on the YouTube channel "Pines of Sarasota Education & Training Institute."

Bumping this up again.

This must be so hard and heartbreaking. I seem to recall that others on this board have good ideas about distracting folks who have this problem, so I'm bumping this question up so that perhaps one of them will have an answer.
