How does a parent apply for financial assistance with a hospital stay when they are living in my home?

Does my income disqualify him from any assistance? When forms ask for household income since he lives in my house do I need to include my income?

I would check with the hospital finance office to clarify what do they mean by household income. In most cases, the adult child is not responsible for his/her parent's debt unless they co-signed on a financial report.
