Does anyone know any agencies that pay for walk in showers if you can't afford it?

You might consider something less expensive and which doesn't require remodeling of the bathroom. Bathtub chairs which extend outside the tub allow someone to sit down, hold onto bars, lift their legs up and slide over into the tub. The entire shower can be taken without standing up.

You might try calling your area agency on aging and ask your question there. Also you could contact a home health agency to see if they would qualify for a Medicare paid aid to assist them with bathing to prevent falls.
