My brother had my Mom sign a QCD. I'm POA but was never informed nor aware of what she was signing. Advice?

This was while she was under 24/7 care with a home health aide. I was and continue to be her POA. I was never informed nor was she aware of what she was signing. Can I contact Elder Services in NY to intervene or question the validity of the quit claim deed? Thank yoi

You having POA does not stop her from signing anything unless she has been ruled incompetent. Please see an attorney immediately; if she needs a Guardian, then by all means, petition the court.
