My Mother is OCD playing cards; eats quickly to play cards; vomits. Any advice?

Mother is/p 5 years bypass surgery: stroke. anxiety disorder during adult life. Only wants to play cards or Wii bowl. Not interested in anything else.
Some tardive dyskinesia, low weight. Stuffs food into mouth to hurry back to play.
this is a problem for her assisted living situation. What to do?

Carodenlyn, according to your profile your Mom is 89 years old. She should know better than to rush through eating, and she knows the consequences. Unless she doesn't connect the dots, there isn't much you can do about that.

Talk to her doctor about this anxiety and see what meds he may recommend.
