I am unable to care for my daughter who has ALS, who can help me?

My daughter (age 62) has ALS and is unable to care for herself, I am 85 and cannot care for her, Who can we contact for help?

ALS society would be a good contact as well, especially if you have a local chapter. Write back if you are having a hard time finding local contact info....

Area Agency on Aging would be the first call, even though she is not that old. They do a great deal for disability in younger people as well. Depending on her needs, a Center for Independent Living (CIL) could help find aides or other living situations that would be accessible and offer other supports. Sorry this is happening to you and her! Have you been to an MDA clinic for optimal ALS care??
