Anyone know about a caregiver support group in the Baltimore/Pikesville, MD area?

I am taking care of my mom. She has trouble walking from one part of her room to another, although she is mentally sharp. I am her major caretaker and guardian and would like to give and get support, encouragement, ideas, resources, contacts, etc. Seeking to avoid burnout. Thank you in advance.

Your best bet is to contact your county council on aging to see if they have a list of support groups. https://www.agingcare.com/local/Area-Agency-on-Aging

Go to in person support groups are hard to find because the caregivers who would love to attend the groups just cannot find the time or find someone to sit with their parent while at the meetings.

For me THE best support group is right here on the Aging Care forum. We are all here to help each other :)
