Is this dementia?

I'm not too sure how long this has been going on up till now I always just dismissed it as her living alone and not having anyone to talk to most of the time. But whenever she has a conversation with someone she repeats the same story over and over she is getting older and I'm starting to get worried about her

Nlaunie83, if you think someone might have memory issues, arm yourself with as much knowledge as you can to help identify the different stages of dementia. It also could be that she is lonely being by herself, thus she won't remember what stories she told whom. She really needs to be around people of her own age group.... otherwise it is like living with zero friends to talk to.

Well, it would help to know who you are talking about, how old they are, are they a family member? Is this new behavior?

Guessing in the dark, I would say that if you have concerns about this person, take them to a doctor.
