Call your doctor and ask him to order home nursing for you. I'm rather surprised he didn't. In fact assuming you're on Medicare, I might call the social services dept at the hospital where you had your surgery. They can probably put it all in place for you. WISH YOU WELL.

Contact the hospital case manager to see if that person can give you a list of caregivers that you can call ahead of time, to hire to help take care of you while you are home recovering.
