Can anyone recommend an ALF in Southern CA?

Thanks for your reply, I know you're trying to be helpful! I know how to find a list of places in my area. But a list of places tells me nothing about the place except an address and phone number. I want to know from someone's personal experience how a place is. Much more valuable information. As I said in my post, "I know it's a long shot," but it was worth the minute it took to type the question if by some chance there was someone in my area.

Cheryl, since this website is worldwide your best bet is to try the blue box on the right side of this page where it says FIND HOUSING AND CARE, type in the zip code, and when the form appears fill it out.

Wish we could do word of mouth, but I have been on this forum as a regular for almost two years, and haven't found anyone from my county.... yet.
