Is there any kind of paper work or anything legal that I have to do if I'm going to volunteer to be my Dad's caregiver?

My dad has cancer & I am going to be his caregiver. I don't want to take any $ for doing it, I'm volunteering
Is there anything legally that I need to do to be his caregiver or no?

If you are volunteering, there is no paperwork between you and your Dad. So sorry to read that your Dad has cancer.

But keep a diary of your daily work to have on hand in case there are questions by other relatives regarding his care.
