Where to find a senior centered singer group or singing classes in the Martinez and surrounding areas for her?
My Mom has some dementia. She needs to get out a little more, spending too much time by herself. I'm looking for some sort of organized senior centered singing group hopefully nearby.
Thank you for your response I will follow up with the Sweet Adelines tip. The church choir is too complicated for her ....she sang in it for 50 years, she's lost too much mentally to sing in a group with that level of performance expectation.
See if there may be a "Sweet Adelines", I think that is what they are called, in your area. What about a church choir? Some assisted living facilities or senioe centers have singing groups or maybe could help you find one.
