My spouse seems to be constantly in fear of "something." Any advice?

He started putting his wallet in a shirt button up pocket so "someone doesn't steal it". Or....my purse is in the living room well out of sight of door or window but he says "put your purse in the other room - someone might look in the window and see it." (Not even a remote possibility where we live) He locks and relocks all doors at night....etc. Is this part of ALZ?

I think it's anxiety caused by Alzheimer's. See if you can get an anti-anxiety medication prescribed.

Weeone, my parents have been like that most of their adult life... back 70 years ago when they were first married someone stole items from their home and ever since then they have been obsessed over this.... can't blame them, but common sense should take over once in awhile... [sigh]

Think of it this way, I rather have my parents be way over cautioned then having them forget to lock the doors or leave money laying around.

Could be, but definitely some anxiety there. I'd tell the doctor. They have medications for this. It is no way for him to live if he doesn't have to.
